Evan Samuel Morgan was born November 29, 1833 to William and Sarah Davies Morgan in Cadoxton, Glamorganshire, Wales. His wives were Mary Parry (1840-1863, married 1861) and Margaret Roberts (1841-1918, married 1863). Mary died shortly after the birth of her first son (who also died). Margaret gave Morgan six children, John Samuel, Hannah, William Roberts, Hugh Evan, David Roberts and Sarah Jane. Evan Samuel Morgan passed away on May 25, 1913 in Liberty, Bear Lake County, Idaho.
